About me

My name is Joanna Kozak and I am a freelance graphic designer, writer and visual artist. My on-going journey through art and design practice helped me to ascertain my primary conviction as an artist and designer – that, quoting Susan Sontag: What is important now is to recover our senses. We must learn to see more, to hear more, to feel more.

I was born in Krakow, Poland, 1991. Since October 2013, I have been living and working in London. I work across a wide range of media; from photography, film and animation through digital to traditional drawing and printmaking, with a focus on branding, editorial design and digital design (filmmaking, design for web). I completed 3 years of the 5-year study programme of Integrated Master’s degree in Graphics at Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, Poland, with a qualification equivalent to the BA level. In September 2015 I completed the MA Graphic Design Communication course at Chelsea College of Arts in London.

I am truly passionate about my work and consider myself as a highly motivated, creative, hard-working and organised person, with a keen eye for detail. If you wish to get more info please do not hesitate to email me.
